Advisor Marketing: Manifesting Your Goals

Advisor Marketing: Manifesting Your Goals

Now that you are working on improving your Worth Barometer you are ready to manifest your hearts desire.

Advisor Marketing: Manifest Your Goals

In the Advisor Marketing System we discuss that creating a foundation begins by clearly identifying two “Master Goals” that you desire to achieve — one for your business plan strategy and another for your personal life.

An example of an advisor marketing business master goal could be, “Our firm serves the needs of top surgeons allowing them to spend more time out of the office” or “Our firm assists traditional affluent women in creating a life plan and achieving their financial goals so they have financial security and can spend more time with their family.” The key is to clearly and concisely identify your desired outcome. In addition, to stating your master goals also take time to create goals in every area of your life, such as personal, career, finance, health, spiritual, charity, and relationships.

Advisor Marketing: Affirmative Goals
The next step to creating a successful advisor marketing plan is to compose two affirmative goal statements for each area of your life.

For example:
• “I manage the money of 100 surgeons each having at least $1,000,000 of investable assets.”
• “I am divinely healthy and feel great.”

For your affirmative goal statements to be effective, it’s important that you state them in the positive, present tense. For example the marketing goal “I earn $250,000 per year” is much more powerful than “I will earn $250,000 per year or I increase my income next year.”

Similarly, since your subconscious mind can’t tell the difference between a negative or a positive, the statement “I’m in great physical condition and eat healthy foods” is far superior to “I’m not fat and don’t eat sweets or junk food.”

Once you have your affirmative advisor marketing goal statements, it’s important to repeat them over and over so they penetrate your subconscious mind and become part of your true vision of life. I learned this year’s ago. I was driving down the road, listening to a business tape, the consultant recommended recording each of my affirmations seven times, with a silent count of seven between each repetition. I was thinking how crazy this seemed when he said, “What do you have to lose?” He went on to explain that if I was achieving every goal I desired, I probably wouldn’t be listening to the tape…he made his point.

I figured it couldn’t hurt to give it a try, so I bought a handy little recorder and stated each affirmation seven times, with a count of seven in between each one. Later, I found out that the number seven actually represents completeness.

That year, I accomplished every personal and professional goal I wrote down (and believe me some were quite lofty). In addition to listening to my affirmation tape once each day, I also write them out seven times and say them out loud seven times. I’ve reached 99% of my personal and advisor marketing goals with this technique, and I encourage you to give it a try…unless you’re already getting your desired results. After all, what do you have to lose?!
